Bound for Cotton Bowl
Mizzou accepted a bid from the Cotton Bowl today. The Tigers will play against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Jan. 1 in Dallas. The Mizzou football site has details.

Calling all news junkies
I am from Oklahoma and was at the Big 12 Championship game. I wanted to thank your fans for the great attitude even after the loss. As we walked to our hotel we passed by a group of Missouri fans that was packing up from the earlier party of tailgating. We had battled with them most of the day as they chanted MIZ ZOU and we chanted BOOMER SOONER, but after the game many congratulated us and one even told my SEVEN year old son ” GOOD GAME LITTLE MAN, we will see you next year”. Naturally their was a lot of passion from all the fans, but it was a wonderful first experience for my son. You now even have him rooting for MIZZOU; except when they play the Sooners. Hope we get to see you all again next yar.
